Crouton with truffle

Crostone al tartufo

Ingredients for 4 people :

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of solina wheat bread
  • 4 slices of thinly sliced Colonnata bacon
  • 80 g of Truffle Sauce
  • salt to taste
  • vinegar to taste
  • extra virgin olive oil.

Preparation:

Trim the slices of bread and brown them in a pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, while they are still hot place the lard on top, which will melt thanks to the heat. In the meantime heat a small pan of water and a spoonful of vinegar, create a vortex with the fork and dip a whole egg in it to cook it for 2/3 minutes. Spread the truffle sauce on the crouton and place the egg on top... and voilà your appetizer is ready to be served.
